I like the idea of my work reaching completely new audiences and being seen in different contexts so I was excited about the opportunity to collaborate with Zephyr Coffee Co.
Coffee is often enjoyed socially; a catalyst for energised conversations and the sharing and spreading of ideas. I wanted to create a piece that spoke to this in a fun and creative way. Having a trio of apes drinking from each other's heads depicts the ‘flow of ideas’ and is a crazy interpretation of the way we transfer and absorb information.
